The DEXIT project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to address the evolving needs of the Tourism and Hospitality (T&H) sectors in Lesotho, Madagascar, and Mauritius. Recognising that these sectors are vital for national economic growth, the project focuses on equipping the workforce with high-quality education and digital skills to ensure long-term sustainability and climate resilience.
The project aims to modernise higher education study programs by integrating advanced digital technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) into the curriculum. Furthermore, DEXIT is dedicated to establishing Centres of Competitiveness (CoC) to provide ongoing professional specialisation and ensure a skilled workforce capable of driving the T&H industry forward.
